After a second night spent at a local campsite (N50.972434 W2.670251) it was a short journey to Wells for a whistle-stop tour round their cathedral and town centre. All very nice. Next we were off to the Gower Peninsular, South Wales, to enjoy three nights of continual wind and rain. The wind being so strong at times that it was difficult to get the habitation door open and shut. We managed a coastal walk on the first day but didn’t even venture out on the second, such was the weather. We just sat around reading and watching telly whilst bouncing around in the wind.
