We left the museum at about 16:30 and made our way back to the car park at the 'Jefferson Arms' for another nights free parking. Upon our arrival we discovered we were not to be on our own tonight as there were already three motorhomes there. Within about half an hour we all did a bit of re-parking in turn, mainly because the owners of a campervan realised they had blocked in two other vehicles.
This evenings meal was Hunters Chicken for us both plus a couple of glasses of wine, costing more than I'd expect to pay for good glug in a pub. But never the less an enjoyable evening.
Tomorrow we head down the road to a campsite on the edge of York for a couple of nights before venturing out in to the sticks.
